Civillage brings a highly visual and innovative location-based service to users of social networks and digital communications: the ability to schedule and orchestrate dynamic activities and local events within a user’s social network.
The service provides a “meta-network interface” to popular services of Facebook, LinkedIn, Last.FM, Twitter, Yelp, Meet-Up, etc , enabling a user to integrate the content and messaging of each social networking or content service with real-time location-based services and communications such as Skype video conferencing, telephony, and mobile SMS.
Civillage first engages users or “civvies” as a native Facebook app, enabling Facebook users to visually depict their friends network on a Google Map, to contact suitably equipped friend using SMS, Skype, or instant messaging of FaceBook. Civvies soon migrate to a robust Web service of Civillage, integrating Facebook services and connections with other Web 2.0 services handled by Civillage. |
